Kind of dance in constant evolution, Tango is the musical expression of a country, Argentina, as well as a form of communication shared by a wide range of different cultures. It is a source of inspiration and an influential element on the artistic process for everybody who is fascinated by it, in Italy and all over the world. Famous tango artists are italian immigrants: Enrique Santos Discepolo, Francisco Canaro, Anibal Troilo, Osvaldo Pugliese, Juan D’Arienzo, Enrique Cadiamo, Pasquale Contursi author of the first lyric of the tango canción, Piero Fontana (a.k.a. Hugo del Carril), Astor Piazzola.
